Who is Pascal Sioui For many years, I worked hard, and I fulfiill many jobs. Here a a few where I worked: Le Festival d’été de Québec, several bars as a lighting designer and operator, and some sound, lighting and corporate events companies, I also work for years at CIHW fm 100,3. From a young age, I have been drawn to the entertainment industry, and I have always dreamed of going on a tour in the province of Quebec with an artist, like Richard Séguin , for example. In 1997, I got a call from a friend and applied for a job at Cirque du Soleil. I left Wendake for Dallas, Texas on February 1, 1998. Since then I have traveled around the world. I've worked on five touring productions, one permanent show in Tokyo, Japan and in the creation of the last 3 production of Cirque du Soleil, VOLTA, Alegria and Under the same sky. I have travel in different countries as Europe, New Zealand, United States, the whole Canada, Russia, Japan and many more. Since 2016, I came back to Montreal, I worked there at the Cirque du Soleil head office, until all employees were laid off last July. I worked as project manager automation and acrobatic as well as assistant acrobatic and rigging designer. My speciality at Cirque Du Soleil was the automation. Automation is everything that is controlled by computer such as turntable, winches, hydraulic system, mainly everything that will help artists to perform on stage. Also, many times I acted as technical director, I had an over view on the production. Having a daughter of almost 4 years old, it is time for us to go back to my roots and come back to Wendake, so that she can understand and grow in our culture.
My Career:

The planet will adapt to anything. Maybe we should start to use the heart and the brain that we've been given to organize ourselves. Because if we keep screwing up things, we may be just passing by in the history of the planet.
